happiness found me

there is something about Scandinavian design that attracts me in a way i can't explain. i just completely find myself in it. it is that feeling that this is it, this is me. i have been looking into it for a while now, observing all details, analyzing as much as i can the architecture, the interior design, the accents, characteristics, and expressions. and no matter how much i appreciate any other designs, i find myself around Scandinavian design all over again.

every time i look at these images, i just see myself living in this type of apartment with white walls, bold accents, high ceilings, cozy sofas, mixing the old with the new, building an atmosphere that inspires me to create. just beautiful!

it makes me very happy and proud of my nationality when big names, like Tom Ford chooses to use Romanian folklore influences for his collections. even though, it is sad in a way we do not see or use our richness in creating extraordinary things, while others have that vision of mixing it with their style and creating these pieces of art. Tom Ford showed us that we can use our national clothes for something more than just during traditional holidays. Cheers to that!
